Craving something sweet and chocolatey?
Try this kinda healthy dairy free hot chocolate recipe.
Ya, know I filmed it too!
Try adding cinnamon
A gift from my sisters who were traveling across Sri Lanka before Miss Rona hit.
My mom requested the girls bring her back some because (I did not know) Sri Lanka is well known around the globe, for having the BEST cinnamon.
Not a fan of oat milk?
Simply switch out the dairy-free for coconut milk, even regular milk. Really you can use anything you want!
1 cup oat milk
1 teaspoon coco powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup
dash of pink sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Simply add everything to a pan, heat, stir and voila
Coconut Whipped Cream
I gave this aerosol whip a try, and honestly, I’m not a big fan of the texture. It’s kinda oily and light. If you want to keep this dairy-free, try making whip cream from a can of coconut milk instead. The texture is way more similar to real whip cream. I’ll link an easy recipe here: Coconut Whip Cream Recipe side note * you’ll need to chill the can overnight for this recipe
Toppings: Candy Cane or Sprinkles
My sister gave me a bag of candy canes, which I smashed up and sprinkled on top
Green Sprinkles for the win
To be honest I wasn’t a fan of the candy cane flavour, so I switched it up with green sugar crystals.
